Muphamuzi Baby Home is a place of safety for orphaned and abandoned babies. This Baby Home is run by 1Hope4Africa, a non-profit organization that is closely tied to our sending / "mother" church, Living Hope Church. It is our joy to partner with this ministry!

Donate Baby Care Products: 

Muphamuzi Baby Home makes daily use of the products listed below as they care for the babies in their care. If you would like to donate any of these products, it would be much appreciated! You can drop them off at the Baby Home (450 Van Heerden Street, Capital Park), or at Living Hope Church on a Sunday, or you contact 1Hope4Africa to collect the products from you (

Products used daily at MBH:

  • Nappies – Sizes: Newborn, 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5

  • Formula Milk – Nestle Lactogen 1 & 2

  • Aqueous Cream

  • Baby Shampoo

  • Bum cream

  • Baby wipes

  • Baby food: fruit and veggie pouches and/or Nestle Cerelac

Serve as a Baby Home Intern:

Baby Home interns serve full-time as assistant caregivers in Muphamuzi Baby Home. They are not paid, and must raise ministry support in order to serve in this role (this is a huge help in reducing the running costs of the Baby Home!). Interns are immersed in the life of Living Hope Church during their time serving with the Baby Home, and discipleship is a key component of the internship.
