Buying a
church property

We believe that owning our own property will help our church better fulfil both our primary goal of making faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, and our secondary goals of planting churches into surrounding areas in need of a healthy, Bible-teaching church, and being of help and encouragement to churches labouring in difficult contexts.

We have a rare opportunity to buy an especially beautiful and strategic church property! There are many reasons it would be a blessing to own this property, but the main ones are long term stability (no risk of being told we can't rent our venue any more), more use of the property for ministry (all week, not just for a few hours on Sunday), more space (especially for joint events with other churches), and the use of rooms we don't have at our rental venue (a kitchen, a fellowship hall, and indoor space for children's ministry). There's a house on the property too, and lots of open land, which opens up many ministry possibilities for the future, Lord willing (we have several exciting ideas!). 


All in all, to purchase this property we need to raise R4 million. As of 20 July, 2024, we have R2,650,000 either donated or pledged. In order to pay off everything and buy the property without a bond, we need to raise R1,350,000 more before 31 January, 2025.
