Our church property has a couple buildings on it that we are in the process of renovating. When renovations are complete, there will be three rooms for church classrooms, two 3-bedroom units for rent, two studio apartments for rent, a 1-bedroom apartment for pastoral interns, and another 3-bedroom unit for a pastoral family / for rent. The aim with the rental units is to create a way of bringing in steady supplemental income for the church, putting the church on more stable and sustainable ground financially into the future. Further, having several church members living next door to one another, on the church property, provides great opportunity for encouraging fellowship and close-knit community in the church.
