You are very welcome to visit with us! Ideal weekly opportunities are our Sunday Worship Services and our mid-week Gospel Community Groups. You are also welcome to visit our Ladies' Bible Study or Young Adult gatherings. These are all good opportunities to meet and get to know people in our church.
What to expect at our Sunday Worship Services:
Our Sunday Worship Services are every Sunday morning from 10:00-12:00. Once a month (normally the last Sunday of the month) we share a meal together after the Service.
We meet in the hall of Die Heuwel Primary School (50 Chroom Street, Proclamation Hill, Pretoria. For a map, please click here.)
Our worship services include prayer, Bible reading, singing together, a sermon taught from the Bible, and often also a time of taking Communion (the Lord's Supper) together. Our sermons are in English (we try to use simple English to help the many people in our church who do not speak English as a first language), and our singing is in English mostly, with some songs in other South African languages spoken by some of our members (Sotho, Zulu, etc).
Due to being a new and small church, we do not currently have children's ministry. We hope to be able to offer that in the future.
We do not have a “dress code” – most of our people dress quite casually, but you are welcome to dress more formally if you prefer.
If you need help with transport, we will gladly try and assist you. Please contact pastor Donovan, ideally by Saturday evening, the day before the Sunday you would like to attend (074 235 7678).
